Dato' Sri Dr. Darren Tan is the Chairman at Astute All. Dato' Sri Dr. Darren Tan is a visionary leader and the founder of several pioneering technology companies. Prior to founding Astute All, Dr. Tan served as an advisor to Treasure Global Inc. (TGL), contributing to its successful listing on the US Nasdaq exchange in 2022. He also serves as an advisor to ZCITY Sdn Bhd, a reward app with e-commerce capabilities founded in 2020. In 2015, he established E-gate Services, an IT hardware and mobile gadget repairing company. From 2007, Dr. Tan founded Ezytronic Co. Ltd., which quickly grew into a leading IT solutions provider. His strategic pivot from a B2C to a B2B model with Ezytronic led to profitable growth and a direct connection with Dell manufacturers. Under his leadership, Ezytronic received numerous accolades, such as the Dell EMC Top Core Client in SMB in Malaysia for five consecutive years and Top 1 in Dell Enterprise Solution for three consecutive years. Dr. Tan holds a B.A. (Hons) Degree and a Diploma in Building Management from Sheffield Hallam University and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Strategy Financial Management.

Sam Teo is the Executive Director of Business Development at Astute All. Mr. Teo is an experienced corporate strategist who has contributed to building high-performance teams through implementation of organizational innovation within multiple companies operating in the fintech and ecommerce fields. Prior to joining Astute All, Mr. Teo was the Chief Executive Officer of Treasure Global Inc., a publicly-listed company in NASDAQ US. Prior to this role, Mr. Teo served as Chief Operations Officer of Treasure Global Inc. from July 2020 to June 2021, where he, among other things, led sales and strategic business development. From March 2020 to June 2021, Mr. Teo was the Chief Executive Officer of Gem Reward Sdn Bhd, leading the Company in strategic/tactical planning, forecasting, capital budgeting, and financial cost controls. Prior to that role, Mr. Teo served as Director of Business Development of Gem Reward Sdn Bhd from May 2018 to February 2020, where he was in charge of sales and business development. From May 2016 to April 2018, Mr. Teo was the Managing Director of Modes Cube Sdn Bhd, leading its business delivery team. Mr. Teo earned a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Survey from the Sheffield Hallam University in 2006, and received a Diploma in Quantity Survey from the Tunku Abdul Rahman College in 2004.

Dr. Alan Tan is the Executive Director of Business Development at Astute All. Prior to joining Astute All, Dr. Tan successfully assisted a Malaysian company in getting listed on Nasdaq in 2022. From 2020 to 2022, Dr. Tan led a capital raising effort to prepare a Malaysian company for Nasdaq listing. In 2019, Dr. Tan served as Associate Director at a Malaysia-licensed Private Equity Management Corporation. Dr. Tan joined a technology company as Global Business Strategy Development Director in 2017, following the completion of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration from the University of Malaya. In 2016, Dr. Tan was Chief Marketing Officer at a startup and was awarded the Worldwide Golden Tripod Leadership Award. Dr. Tan also founded a real estate company in 2014 and became one of the top real estate agencies. Dr. Tan entered the Fintech industry in 2012, assisting with technology integration and fundraising. Dr. Tan graduated from Disted Stanford College in 2010 with a GPA of 3.83.

Michael Chan is the Executive Director of Finance at Astute All. Prior to joining Astute All, Mr. Chan was the Chief Financial Officer of Treasure Global Inc. Prior to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Chan was the Company’s Financial Controller from January 3, 2023, where he handled finance, and accounts matters as well as assisting with M&A and fund raising. From May 2022 to September 2022, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Ikhasas Group of companies handling overall corporate finance including potential IPO, fund raising, banking, tax and accounts and investment. From January 2022 to May 2022, he was the Head of Group Treasury for Sime Darby Plantation Bhd (“Sime Darby”), a public listed company in Malaysia. At Sime Darby, Mr. Chan managed group cashflow, including banking facilities, worked on group inter-company reconciliations, financial reports and budget and cashflow plans. From July 2020 to February 2021, Mr. Chan, served as Group Deputy CEO/Group Chief Financial Officer for Smart Glove Holding Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian private company where he helped reorganize and prepare business for a potential initial public offering. From November 2015 to June 2020, Mr. Chan served as Chief Financial Officer for TS Global Network Sdn Bhd, a member company of PT Telkom Indonesia, where he completed the restructuring and turnaround as well as leading the successful adoption of MFRS standards. Prior to this, from April 2013 to November 2015, he was a Chief Financial Officer for Pasukhas Group Bhd. He was with Carimin Group of Companies from May 2000 to August 2012 before leaving as Group Financial Controller. Mr. Chan is a fellow member of the Institute of Public Accountants of Australia and UK, and a Certified Practising Accountants of a member body of IFAC. He received his MBA in 2014 from University of Wales and is currently pursuing his doctorate.

Jaylvin Chan is the Executive Director of Corporate Advisory at Astute All. Prior to joining Astute All, Mr. Chan was the Chief Financial Officer of Treasure Global Inc., a publicly-listed company in NASDAQ US. From 2020 to 2023, Mr. Chan has been the Chief Financial Officer for Gem Reward Sdn Bhd. At Gem Reward Sdn Bhd, Mr. Chan has, among other things, been a member of the involved in setting overall operational short- and long-term strategies and analyzing and reporting on trends, opportunities, risks and projections of future growth; lead the development and use of best-practice policies, practices, and tools that ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization with strong fiscal management, project management, cross team communications and workflow and coordinated the development of the annual operating, capital, and program budgets, and reporting against the same. From 2019 to 2020 Mr. Chan was, among other things, the Group Finance Manager for Vettons Group of Companies. At Vettons, Mr. Chan supervised end-of-period processes and prepared an analysis of the periodical business performance, budgets, and forecasts and lead the Finance Department in the establishment of risk management procedures as well as the update of those procedures. From 2015 to 2019 Mr. Chan was a Vice President at TAEL Management. At TAEL, Mr. Chan was among other things, involved in several private equity investments, reported to Finance Director and advised the Investment Director on the structure of funding, strategies on the entering and exiting the deals and designed the valuation; and provided high level analytical support in areas of strategic financial importance. Mr. Chan is currently a Chartered Accountant registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and received a Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting at University of Malaysia and is pursuing an MBA at the Open University of Malaysia.

Vincent Tan is the Executive Director of Legal & Corporate Governance at Astute All. Prior to joining Astute All, Mr. Tan served as in-house counsel, where he developed his expertise in providing strategic legal counsel, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing robust governance frameworks. Mr. Tan’s career is marked by a strong track record of advising on complex legal matters, managing corporate legal affairs, and fostering ethical business practices. Mr. Tan excels at navigating the intricacies of corporate law and delivering insightful legal solutions that support organizational objectives and mitigate risks. Committed to upholding the highest standards of legal integrity, he brings a proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively within dynamic and evolving business environments. Mr. Tan possesses an LLB (Hons) London with First Class.
